===home movies

Answer
We love our Sony Handycam. I bought it for $350 at Costco (because you can return it there with your receipt if it breaks, even if it's five years later).

It records on mini-DVDs so you can play them back on your home DVD player or easily transfer them to the computer.

I highly recommend it.

Iam looking into buying a Nikon SLR camera. What if the camera stops working let say a year - year and a half later, will costco replace it with a new one?

Answer
The return policy for electronics changed to 90 days... You can also ask before purchasing the camera.

We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund. The following must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund: televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPOD / MP3 players and cellular phones.

Answer
Don't know how much you want to spend . . .
For about $150-$200 you can get a
Casio Z75 or Z1050 is a great choice, nice and thin, lightweight, shoots photos and video with sound. Easy to use controls and a 2.5" screen to view.

www.besybuy.com
www.samys.com (my favorite)
ww.costco.com
Recommend a Scandisk memory card, about 2GB.
Check you Sunday paper for ad sales or coupons.
