Nikon Coolpix S51 camera? :)?

I have been looking at a pink Nikon Coolpix S51 camera. It looks good and is on sale at walmart for 198.00. I have been finding different information on separate sites about the camera, such as... Are there scene modes? I read that there are 15 but cannot find a list of them. What are they? How is the quality in some specific ones?... What is the movie mode, I have seen 30fps and Frame Movie Mode? Are they the same? How is the movie quailty and can you adjust scene modes in video? ...And, overall what is your opinion on the camera?

I'm looking for a new digital camera and I need advise on what to get. I want one that I can get at walmart, because I need to get it tomarrow, so I can have it Wednesday. I'm in high school so I want the camera just to take pictures with friends and I'm in sports, so I want one that I can take good action pictures with. I want it to have a video camera on it, with sound. I want it to be more compact also. I would like it to have a 5x optical zoom on it. Is that a good enough zoom? Also I want one that I can by a good memory card for, so if you know what memory card would go with the camera that you suggest, please let me know. Thanks!!

A really good Camera that i bought @ walmart is the Sony Cyber-Shot It has optical zoom 10x it has a 3" LCD monitor and is 8.1 mega pixels which means that you can get reall good cuality pictures. for this camera you would need to get a PRO Duo memory stick. This camera is perfect for what you want it! I really recomend it!

i want to get the canon a2200 but i dont know where to buy it to get it cheap. i looked at walmart, bestbuy, target, and toys r us...but where else? also is it even a good camera?

my dad's not into tools and is not a huge sports fan. he doesn't really show what he really wants. he did mention that he wanted sirius satellite radio but that's a little complicated so do u have any other suggestions?

Okay this depends how old you are but have if you are leaving the house or about to have some other family transition(new baby, graduate HS or college or move out), then an album of pictures can be a great way for you too to spend time talking about great times you shared.

IF your dad isn't the talking type, maybe you could just spend the day doing his favorite things. This could be anything from golfing(even if you suck), fishing(even if you hate it) or a movie that he loves. What does he do the most? My dad used to watch tv all the time so we got him a DVR. He goes to the movies so we got a gift certificate and a giftcard to cover the movie and snacks. He loves to travel so we got him a gas card for day trips and maps of his state. My husband likes biking to work, I got him comfy petals so he can wear his combat boots and not slip off. Get his car washed so he doesn't have to do it. Cook him dinner if he cooks for you. Buy him groceries if he is on a budget(MY MOM LOVES THIS ONE BECAUSE IT IS USEFUL INSTEAD OF FLOWERS). Does he do crosswords, get him a years worth of New York Times Sunday Edition with the hard crosswords. What store is he always going to? Walmart, Target and Kmart are great because they have almost anything and everything. Is there a tv show you used to watch together, alot of shows are coming out with collectors editions of episodes now...seinfield, simpsons, family guy, fresh prince...you know what i mean.

Try some of these, sometimes it is just thinking of the thing he complains about not getting done...the broken garage door, the laundry all over your room, the pile of crap next to the door going away, his car getting cleaned, a break on gas prices, grocery bill or electric bill too high, the grass and yard getting maintained, or a charity he believes in getting some money donated on behalf of him...and finally doing it.

Gopro camera for mountain biking?

I was considering getting a gopro for mtb and other things bust mostly mtbing. Which is the best for the price ik the black is best and the lowest is the white for the hero 3 or should i get a 2? Which mounts are cool and good for mtb other than helmet and chest mounts? And what are some good accessories?

Get the 3 it has WiFi built in. I bought the white edition at Walmart. Check Walmart and Amazon for mounts and cables. I bought the handlebar mount, suction cup, and tripod mount. I also picked up the HDMI cable and the Wasabi battery packs and charger. They take great video and the 3 is even smaller then the 2.

I need help getting a camera!?

I am 16 years old, and an aspiring film maker and possibly photographer. I want to get an entry level DSLR for shooting good video and taking good pictures. I found one for a good price on Walmart, but I am unsure as to how long it'll be up. It's 400 dollars, I have a job but it doesn't start until 2 months or so from now. I would like to get this camera as soon as possible. Any suggestions on how to make money, contests that you know of, anything would be much appreciated!

HD Camcorders and DSLR Cameras interpolate the video, which means of every 25 frames of video, 4 or 5 frames are taken by the lens assembly; the other frames in between these are filled in by the camcorder inner circuitry, thus giving you not true video. It looks like this -one frame from the lens assembly, 7or 8 from the electronic circuitry, one frame from the lens assembly, 7or 8 from the electronic circuitry, one frame from the lens assembly, 7or 8 from the electronic circuitry, one frame from the lens assembly, 7or 8 from the electronic circuitry, from front to back of the video. Near impossible to edit, even when you have the Multi port processor computer with the big 1GB Graphics card and a Sound card that is required to edit, view, watch and work with the files these camcorders produce.

Consumer Level HD Camcorders and DSLR Cameras have 4 problems. 1) Blurry, fuzzy, out of focus areas closely around people in videos taken by consumer level HD camcorders. 2) Any movement, even a wave or lifting an arm, while in front of a recording Consumer Level HD Camcorder and DSLR Cameras, results in screen ghosts and artifacts being left on the video track, following the movement. Makes for bad video, sports videos are unwatchable. 3) These Consumer Level HD Camcorders and DSLR Cameras all have a habit of the transferred to computer files are something you need to convert, thus losing your HD quality, to work with your editing software. 4) Mandatory maximum record times - 1 hour, 30 minutes, 8 minutes, 3 minutes â four different times advertised as maximum record time for some Consumer Level HD Camcorders and DSLR Cameras. No event I have ever been to is that short. Either take multiple camcorders and DSLR Cameras or pack up with out getting the end of the event on video.

Each MiniDV tape will typically hold an hour of footage at normal recording speed and quality. There are literally hundreds of MiniDV camcorders available; both in standard and high-definition. And add the fact that to get a HD camcorder that could produce better video quality footage, one would have to spend in excess of $3500 for that camcorder that could produce higher quality video
