I need to make some short films an I need to best of the best camcorder I can get. Does anybody know of some? I don't have a budget for it. Just need it ASAP.

remember to add a few mics (Sennheiser, Audio Technica), tripod (Manfrotto), lights (lite panels), mic boom, shock mount, cables, camera crane (Kessler), cases, Steadycam vest stabilizer system, power supplies... and be sure whatever computer you plan to edit on can deal with the captured video - same with the editing application you plan to use.

I'm looking into buying a camcorder to make mini movies and just to have a little fun. I've seen HD camcorders and all sorts of camcorders that look nice but I'm not sure which ones give me the best bang for my buck. Could someone help send me in the right direction please?
