I'm thinking about buying a GoPro camera, but am not sure about it, so I have some questions.
Is it worth buying the HD, or is the Standard version of good enough quality?
I know it's small, but is it just the right size for me to hold?
Does it really have to be mounted to anything?
Please give me any advice/feedback about any of the GoPro cameras you have.

The camera has four modes - video (in several resolutions), still pictures, self-timer still pictures, and interval photos (pictures every few seconds). The lens gives a tremendously wide wild view which is nice for HD's 9:16. It will shoot 1080p, 960p 720p (at 30 and 60 frames per second), and 480 (at 60 frames per second) line resolutions. It uses standard SDHC memory cards and has an internal battery which recharges via a USB cable. The recorded audio is very good both inside and outside of the motor sports waterproof case that came with my kit.

what is the difference between the go pro hd hero 2 outdoor edition , and the hd hero naked?

so i have an hd hero 2 outdoor edition but i am thinking about getting the 3d mount..... i dont want to buy another edition, motorsports , outdoor etc... i just want another camera ..... so is the naked edition the same thing just without the mounts ..... or is it the first edition of the hd hero and a piece of shit with lower video quality ?

They are different cameras with different sensors, lenses, etc. For 3D to work, you need like cameras or the resulting video will not overlap correctly, etc. So, if you want to shoot 3D with your current GoPro HD HERO2, you'll need to get another HD HERO2. Make sense? Maybe find out when they'll be at an event near your home town, sometimes they have stuff at events for a good deal.
