best camcorder resolution image
Lucas S
I already own a camcorder and i want a better one with higher quality video. So i just wanted to know what makes a camcorder have sharper/clearer video.
Answer
Generally, the higher the numbers of the resolution makes a higher quality image (so, for example while shooting in HD 1920x1080 is better than 1440x1080)
Also, the more frames per second, the better looking the end result is going to be (so 60fps is better than 30fps)

Hack mobile phone camera digital zoom?
Gedas
My mobile phone Samsung Gt5230 has only 2x digital zoom. Is possible to hack firmware to make 8x or 16x zoom? Maybe it is also possible to change camcorder resolution from qvga to vga, enable nighshot?
Answer
I think if you understood what digital zoom really is you would see why even if you were to be able to increase the digital zoom, the quality would be reduced. All digital zoom is, is cropping the amount of the sensor is being used. You are better off cropping the image later using a photo program.
Same with the camcorder issue. The sensor is tiny, so increasing resolution is impossible with or without any hack.
The "nightshot" you mention would have to be something that would increase the sensors ISO. Again with such a tiny sensor, increasing the ISO will only increase the noise in your photos.
