Recently purchased the Olympus E-PL1. I'm finding that I like to take pictures from a distance AND I like to take pictures of my kids playing sports. What lens should I get for shooting scenery in full light, outdoor youth sports in full light, and if possible, also shoot indoor sports (i.e. youth basketball in a gym)? Oh, to complicate the matters... I also shoot a lot of sports video in low light (i.e. youth football games played at night)

Answer
Long and fast is what you need for that. Olympus 4/3 (not micro, but there is an adapter) has some great long and fast lenses that cost a whole load of dollars. There is a 50-200 f:2 which fits the bill for $1000.
