best 720p camcorder reviews image
shibby
I'm looking to buy a flip video camcorder that is compatible with a macbook.
I'm thinking of a price range of $150-$300.
Any suggestions?
Answer
The Mino is an excellent option. It delivers a lot of awesome features.
You can save yourself some money and buy a used one for $80 instead of the full price of $125 at Amazon.

This is the competition ot the Flip series of camcorders, some are as good or better than the Flip.
Kodak Zi8 HD (1080p) - $150

Hello
Im basically in the same boat as you. I also need a camera for the same budget and to do and make Youtube videos.
Ive been looking in to the Toshiba Camileo X200 (its a camcorder)
It takes 1080p video Not sure how good the pictures are tho.

Also the FujiFilm Finepix S4500 (bridge camera)
Which takes 720p video but much better pictures than the Camileo. It also has a 30x zoom.

I would suggest looking at those cameras, but don't take my word for them because I have never used them my self but reviews are pretty good on them. I would also (If possible) buy some light equipment! Trust me it will really make the video or pictures look much more Professional with a well lit room than it being dark and poorly lit area.
P.S I hate Jim the Dbag up their! He answers everything like people have a endless budget to spend. >: [
Re-edit: Also might want to look for the Finepix SL300. Its a few Better features than the S4500
