How do you get sand out of kodak play sport video camera?

I got my underwater video camera kodak playsport for Christmas I used it a little while ago and I got sand in the cracks to the openings of where u plug it in to charge it. It is dead now and I can't use it. So how can I get the sand out without sending it back to Kodak?

I have a Kodak play sport video camera that looks like this > http://www.softatoz.com/camcorder-kodak/playsport-zx5-black/KDPSZX5BK.png and I have been resetting it every time I use it! It wont let me upload photos or videos, when I do it says there are no new ones to upload but there are! And it wont let me watch the videos on the camera either or else it freezes and I have to reset it. I am able to take videos and pictures still but when I go to click on them right after I take them it says something weird like unrecognized or something. Please help! I really need to upload my videos to youtube this week! Thank you <3
