Why does the Nintendo 3DS camcorder have poor sound quality?

I've been wanting to know this for so long. The videos I record on my 3DS have poor sound quality. It's the same for my little sister's 3DS too. Why? On my iPod touch there is better picture and sound quality.

because your trying to record sound/video with a handheld gaming platform. its like trying to get decent quality video with a nokia 5 years ago.

besides, its a 3ds, please tell me how you enjoy your 4 fps max framerate when you turn on 3d mode.
